Keep an Eye on Your Propane Supply…
We’ve already gotten an early taste of winter here in Southwest Iowa, with more cold weather on the way in the weeks and months to come.
With unseasonably cool temperatures reaching into the 20s as early as mid-October this year, you may have used more propane than usual during fall’s first month and a half. If you’re a Will Call customer with a lot on your plate, you could lose track of your propane levels and find yourself on the wrong end of a no-heat emergency.
An easy way to help avoid that situation is to enroll in Pelgas’ automatic propane delivery service.
If you’re not familiar with automatic delivery, here’s how it works:
- Our staff, along with your input, will estimate how much fuel you’re likely to use based on your past propane usage and the current weather (if you have recently become a Pelgas customer, we’ll estimate based on your propane appliances and expected usage).
- This estimate will help us predict when you will need fuel and provide convenient and reliable propane deliveries.
- Instead of having to call every time you need propane, your Pelgas driver will come to your home and fill your tank based on the schedule created for you. Please be sure to contact us should you have any changes in fuel usage. You’ll also get priority service over Will Call customers – a benefit that can really come in handy during unpredictable weather.
For those who like to schedule each propane delivery or have variable usage not dependent on weather, please contact us when your tank reads about 30 percent and give us at least 3 business days notice.
